MT. BETHEL 

The Mount Bethel Baptist Educational Congress began in 1953 as an auxiliary of the Mount Bethel Baptist Association.  It originally held an Annual One Day Institute during the month of March, which has turned into a one-week session where many classes are taught and the attendance is excellent. The Educational Congress also sponsors an annual musical to provide scholarship funds to a deserving graduating high school senior. The Mission and Objective of the Congress is to impart information to Christian Leaders, Teachers and Laypersons that will facilitate their personal spiritual growth and further equip them for the work of the ministry in the local church and the community at large.
